Dramatic events took place on the set of the new version of the horror movie The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. According to Deadline, just a week after the resumption of work on the project, directors Andy and Ryan Tohilla refused to participate in it. The reason is not named.

Sources in the studio claim that the new director will have to create a movie from scratch. Filming will take place in Bulgaria. A possible rental schedule for the movie has not yet been specified. Recall that information about the launch of the new "Massacre" appeared in early 2020.

The original horror movie was released in 1974. It was directed by Tobe Hooper. It was about a brother and sister who travel with their friends to Texas to visit their grandfather's grave.

The movie quickly gained the status of a cult classic in its genre. In the future, several not so successful sequels were released. In 2003, an attempt was made to restart the series, which proved to be very successful.
