The fourth episode of the eighth season of Game of Thrones was full of moments that contradicted common human logic. One of the most controversial episodes is the scene of Jon Snow's farewell to his faithful four-legged companion the direwolf. Oddly enough, but such a ridiculous scene was not caused by script problems, but by the lack of funds from the creators of the series, or laziness, to be frank.

Having cordially said goodbye to Tormund, Samwell Tarly and Gilly, Jon Snow paid the direwolf very little attention - he just gave it a silent look and left with the Khaleesi. Of course, you can refer to the fact that it is incredibly painful for John to say goodbye to his pet Ghost, so he chose not to say goodbye at all. But when watching Game of Thrones episode 4, the episode didn't look very authentic, did it?

If John had even stroked the Phantom, the scene would definitely not have caused outrage among fans of the series. But the director of the series, David Nutter, explained that the production team deliberately took this step, since the direwolf was completely created using 3D graphics, and therefore it was not easy to film the scene of the interaction between the Phantom and Jon Snow. This is the very reason that forced HBO to choose the easiest way to say goodbye. Additionally, David Nutter noted that even so, in his opinion, the scene of Jon Snow and the direwolf farewell looked "very strong" in the series.

What other problems were in the 4th episode of the 8th season of "Game of Thrones" we told in our special material. We'll also remind you that the release of the 6th episode is expected on May 12 on HBO cable channel and online paid platforms.
