Disk defragmentation. Program
This article will show you how to defragment your disk. Disk defragmentation refers to the process of optimizing the logical structure of a disk by organizing the files stored on it. Defragmenting a disk increases the speed of reading and writing data stored on it, therefore, the speed of the programs installed on this disk increases. You can defragment your disk using the built-in Windows tools or use special programs. Defragmenting a Disk Using Windows Built-in ToolsOpen " My Computer ", right-click on the disk selected for defragmentation and select " Properties ", a window will open (Fig. 1).
