The creators of the Divinity series, together with the Logic Arts studio, announced a new game in the popular role-playing universe - Divinity: Fallen Heroes. The new project, announced as a spin-off of Divinity: Original Sin 2, will retain many of the virtues of the original series, while at the same time focusing on varied and varied turn-based battles.

The Danish studio Logic Arts got its hands on the graphics engine from Divinity 2 and a difficult task: to create a turn-based game in which almost all decisions made during the passage affect the further narrative. The goal was to maintain the identity of the Divinity series while creating a game that will bring a number of innovations to the popular franchise.

The plot of the game takes place immediately after the finale of Divinity 2 and the player will take on the role of the commander of the Divine Order. A grand adventure is promised in which the player will have to become the last hope for saving the world and meet the Lord of Chaos himself. The duration of the storyline campaign Divinity: Fallen Heroes is promised within 30 hours, where the completion of each mission will take at least 20 minutes.

In addition to non-linearity and an improved combat system, the developers promised a variable leveling system, the ability to take up to 6 characters into the party, including the main character, and the ability to recruit new fighters. Separately, the expanded physical model is noted, which brings even more scope for tactical maneuvers on the battlefield.
