Nokia 9 PureView Multi-Camera Smartphone Launched
Announced at the end of February, a new Nokia smartphone with a record five sensors of the main camera has become available for the USA market. HMD Global, the owner of the rights to release devices under the Nokia brand, has officially announced the start of USA sales of Nokia 9 PureView. The multi-camera Nokia 9 PureView smartphone belongs to the premium segment of mobile devices along with the top representatives of other manufacturers - Xiaomi, Samsung, Huawei. It is based on a Snapdragon 845 processor dated last year. Nokia 9 PureView became the first smartphone in the world to have five photo modules in stock. All of them are located at the top of the rear panel, forming a multifaceted figure in the shape of a sphere. All sensors combined have a resolution of 60 MP. Two of them are color, the other three are monochrome, providing clarity and depth of the image. All modules individually have a resolution of 12 MP, after capturing images, they are combined into a total 60-megapixel image.  Unlike competitors, the Finnish manufacturer did not differentiate all photo modules, using different resolutions in each. Each 12MP sensor is equipped with Zeiss optics and f / 1.82 aperture. The resulting frame can be left in the original RAW or DNG format, or you can run it through a photo editor, the same Photoshop. In addition, the camera system of the smartphone has the function of adjusting the focus and the effect of blurring the background after the image has been taken. On the front panel of the body, the Nokia smartphone has a front camera with a resolution of 20 MP. The 6-inch display at 2880x1440 supports Quad HD + resolution. On the sides, the display is devoid of bezels, but at the bottom and at the top it is limited by frames. The top bezel above the display is home to the speaker, sensors, and selfie camera. This engineering solution eliminated the Nokia 9 PureView from screen cutouts, sliding compartments and other recesses for the front photo module.  The smartphone has 6 GB of temporary and 128 GB of internal memory. Protection against unauthorized access is represented by biometric technologies, including the option of face identification and a fingerprint scanner located under the screen. Protection from moisture and dust is ensured by the IP67 standard. In addition to other features, the Nokia smartphone has a 3320 mAh battery with fast charging via USB-C port, and the device also supports Qi wireless charging. The Nokia 9 PureView components are designed to deliver 4K HDR video content with surround sound. The smartphone comes pre-installed with Android 9 Pie without additional firmware.
