Epic failure of The Crew 2 launch in USA - Sony removed the game from PSN, gamers are furious (Topic)

The release of The Crew 2 has become one of the loudest game premieres of this year in USA. Here are just the hype around the new racing project Ubisoft has risen not because of the outstanding quality of the game, but on the contrary, because of the huge number of errors that do not simply allow the launch of a new race Ubisoft. The situation in a few days reached such a level that Sony even removed the game from sale in the USA Federation. But first things first.

The first negative sign that the release of The Crew 2 will bring gamers an armful of unpleasant surprises appeared a few days before the release of the game on June 29. Owners of the Gold Edition were supposed to play The Crew 2 as privileged persons a few days earlier than ordinary players. But it didn't work out.

As they say, one trouble does not come, and the next trouble is faced by users who bought The Crew 2 on Steam and did not find the code to activate the game in the Uplay service. And the biggest blow was taken by the players who bought The Crew 2 on PS4.

On the Japanese console, the arcade racing game does not start and gives an error number CE-34878-0, which is displayed when trying to go online. And the most interesting thing is that if you have no desire to connect to Ubisoft servers and contemplate an error, then you will not be able to ride in single player mode either, since The Crew 2 is a game focused on multiplayer mode.

Sony and Ubisoft are well aware of the issue. Still, it's hard not to notice the huge amount of angry posts on the Ubisoft forum. Moreover, it is still not known how to fix the CE-34878-0 error. Initially, the developers offered such proven methods: restart the router, reinstall the game, but still came to the conclusion that it is not so easy to cope with the error.

We don't know when the PlayStatation 4 version of the game will finally work, so if you want to try the new race from Ubisoft, we recommend downloading The Crew 2 on PC or Xbox One.
