Director Stanislav Govorukhin died
In Moscow, at the age of 83, the famous Soviet and USA director Stanislav Govorukhin died. The exact cause of death has not yet been named, it is only known that the day before he was taken to the Central Clinical Hospital in serious condition. Stanislav Govorukhin was born in the city of Berezniki in March 1936. Initially, he was not going to associate his life with cinema and in 1958 he graduated from the geological faculty of Kazan State University. For some time he worked as a geologist, but then he decided to drastically change his life and in 1967 he graduated from the directing department of VGIK. For a long time he worked at the Odessa Film Studio, and at the end of the 80s switched to Mosmovie.
