Blancco, a data security company, has presented an anti-rating that includes the most unreliable Android and iOS devices. The research was based on information for the 1st quarter of 2018. Among the outsiders were devices from such well-known brands as Samsung, Xiaomi, Huawei, Motorola.

Anti-rating for Android devices was formed not by specific smartphone models, but by their manufacturers.

The South Korean brand Samsung took the "palm". Among those who applied to the repair service, the number of owners of Samsung smartphones was 27% .

Following the "leader" is Xiaomi. For devices of this brand, the percentage of requests for repairs was 14% .

Smartphones from Motorola ( 9% ) are in third place, followed by representatives of Huawei and InFocus.

How is Apple doing?

Analytical data from Blancco also told about the frequency of breakdowns of well-known "apple" smartphones. The list of iOS devices with the most massive hits in the service includes the iPhone 6 and 6s models. Among these particular devices, analysts recorded a large number of problems with the sensor, as well as the operation of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth services.

It was iPhone 6 that became the leader of the presented anti-rating, its owners most often applied for services ( specifically 22% ). The second place went to the 6S model - 16% of breakdowns among the total, and the third place went to the iPhone 6S Plus - 9%, respectively.

A little clarification. The figures presented by Blancco analysts show not only the percentage probability of problems with a particular model, but also its prevalence in today's smartphone market.

For example, iPhones 6 and 6S have been on the market for several years, which gives them a larger share of the iOS device market. Additionally, the likelihood of contacting for repair with a device that is 3-4 years old also increases compared with a device released at a later date.
