The popular Telegram messenger has a new function - Telegram Passport, which should make life easier for all users who conduct transactions over the Internet. According to the creators of the messenger, now there is no need to waste time to confirm your documents on various resources. It's simple: you have uploaded personal documents to the messenger server once and provide them in a few clicks at the request of the site. But, is it safe to send your confidential data to Telegram, such as passport pages, residence address or birth certificate? Here, it only remains to believe the words of the creators of the messenger, who have repeatedly confirmed their interest in safely storing users' personal information. Access to documents is protected by new encryption technology, and even Telegram employees will not be able to read the "passport" data if they want to.  At the moment, Telegram's innovation only supports the ePaymetnts service, but in the future, the function of authorizing documents through the messenger can be used in any payment system, application or online store.
