Xiaomi Mi 8, Explorer Edition and SE Compact Model Announced
Xiaomi on Thursday morning introduced another smartphone. Mi 8 becomes the first for this manufacturer with a notch in the screen. The Samsung AMOLED panel measures 6.21 inches, the cutout is quite large and contains a 20MP camera. The back glass surface is curved on four sides, the frame is aluminum. Inside is the Snapdragon 845 chip, the dual rear camera with 12MP sensors in DxOMark scored 105 points, which is quite a lot. There are several more expensive smartphones in China, like the Oppo R15 Pro and Vivo X21, which are powered by Snapdragon 660, and this variant of Xiaomi is quite capable of competing with them.
