The iPhone 12 uses a new development from Samsung

It has long been known that Apple will launch three new smartphone models on the market next year. Insiders predict not only a fresh design, but also improved specifications.

This data is confirmed by the Korean edition of ETNEws. According to him, the line of devices will receive displays in two sizes: 5.4 and 6.7 inches. These will be thin OLED screens.

The two most expensive models, the iPhone 12 Pro and the iPhone 12 Pro Max, will use Samsung's Y-OCTA technology. It can be used to create a touch screen layout on an OLED panel. This requires fewer layers. As a result, the thickness of the display is reduced, and at the same time, manufacturing costs are reduced.

Therefore, the design of the devices will become more elegant, and Apple will get more profit. They also talk about the possible use of high-capacity batteries, because additional space will appear to accommodate them.

It is already known that the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max have thicker bodies compared to the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max last year. This was due to the use of more powerful batteries in them. In tests, they showed great autonomy, which allowed them to outperform most competitors in this indicator.

According to insiders, displays of the new type with dimensions of 5.4 and 6.7 inches will be supplied by Samsung. A more affordable version of the iPhone 12 with a 6.1-inch screen will begin to be equipped with displays produced not only by Samsung, but also by LG. There is also information that the Chinese manufacturer BOE is also interested in supplies of this kind.

At the moment it is not known what other advantages will be received by devices equipped with a new type of matrix. Maybe there will be new display technologies that improve brightness, contrast or color rendition. It's too early to talk about it. The line of new iPhones will go on sale only next fall. This is still a long way off.

HUAWEI flagship will be equipped with eight cameras

At the beginning of next year, the announcement of the new flagship of HUAWEI - P40 is expected. The first information about this device has already appeared. Insiders predict that the model will have a pumped-up camera and some other advanced solutions.

One of the messages says that the smartphone has eight cameras. Three of them will be installed at the front for use as front panels, and five more will be placed on the rear panel.

The front sensors will be equipped with 32, 20 and 20 megapixel sensors. The main module of the main camera will receive a 64-megapixel lens, and a 53-megapixel lens is provided for the ultra wide-angle lens. There will also be a camera for recording video, a ToF sensor and a telephoto lens.

The latter will receive 10x optical and 100x digital zoom.

Also, insiders claim that the base of the device's hardware will be the Kirin 990 5G processor, and the company uses its own HarmonyOS as the operating system. It is currently being actively developed.

The gadget will be announced in January, at the CES Consumer Exhibition Forum, or at the MWC in February.

Sberbank will invest in the development of drones

Recently it became known that Sberbank plans to create a new enterprise together with Cognitive Technologies (known for its developments in the development of unmanned aerial vehicles). According to rumors, it will be called the Cognitive Pilot.

This company will be engaged in the development and improvement of driver assistance systems based on autonomous vehicle control technologies. Further use of the company's design developments in agriculture, as well as in the fields of artificial intelligence and the digital economy is predicted.

Sberbank's share in the new venture will be 30%, and the rest will belong to Cognitive Technologies. The deal is scheduled to take place before the end of this year.

The announcement of the new firmware from Vivo will take place before the end of 2019

Vivo is currently equipping all of its mobile devices with the FuntouchOS user interface. Recently, a Vivo executive announced that his firm will soon reveal a new JoviOS skin.

The first model to receive the new firmware will be the vivo X30. It should be announced later this month.

Information about this event has already appeared on the network. The JoviOS interface logo was placed there, allowing you to evaluate the writing style of the main font.

The X30 is rumored to feature 5G 5G networking, 60x hybrid zoom, 12GB RAM, Samsung's Exynos 980 processor and a 90Hz display.
