Let It Die - New PC Action From the Creators of Killer7 and No More Heroes

The PC version of Let It Die, the insane action game from Japanese developers at Grasshopper Manufacture with No More Heroes, Lollipop Chainsaw and Killer7, has been announced.

The brutal Let It Die debuted at the end of 2016 on PlayStation 4. But the developers are determined to expand their PC audience as well. A desktop version is scheduled for release this fall; the title will be distributed via Steam.

Micropayments Again

The game uses a free micropayment model. At the moment we don't know if both versions will be cross-platform.

There is no multiplayer in Let It Die, but when a character dies, his deceased clone becomes a so-called hater, which other players can then face. It is not yet known whether users will encounter haters left over from owners of the PC version, and vice versa.

Was the game really that good on PS4?

The console version of Let it Die debuted on December 3, 2016. The title received a warm welcome and has an average rating of 72% on Metacritic. As with most Grasshopper Manufacture games, the reviews were very mixed - the action had many fans, but there were also quite a few who expressed dissatisfaction.

However, the commercial success of Let It Die is hard to argue - according to the authors, it has been downloaded over 4 million times.

Obviously, the PC release of the game will be another sign of the expansion of the Grasshopper Manufacture business. Throughout its history, the studio has focused primarily on console projects, but lately it has increasingly been porting its creations to the PC. Thanks to this policy of the company, computer gamers received the Killer is Dead, Silver Case and The 25th Ward: Silver Case. We are also working on a conversion for Killer7.
