A fantastic duo of screenwriters, father and son Lawrence and Jonathan Kasdanov, effortlessly and as if by magic, brings the themes and spirit from episodes four and six to life and they really need to be given their due. Without these two, we would not have received any new Khan, we would not have seen his meeting with Chewie, but more on that later.

Moreover, “Han Solo. Star Wars. Stories ”is based on the original story, which formed the basis of one of the greatest bromances in the history of cinematography: between the stoic Wookiee Chewbacca and the cheeky handsome filibuster and the rebel pilot Han Solo.

Alden Ehrenreich submitted this role one hundred percent, he completely got used to the image that revives in the memory of the young romantically gallant Harrison Ford. But there is another meeting of those that are called cute - this is the blossoming love between man and machine: between the reckless pilot and the now iconic Millennium Falcon.

However, the main event, of course, is Khan's meeting with Chewie, who has already turned 190 years old, but in this series of films he is condemned as Dorian Gray to eternal youth. At this time, Khan was just thrown into a dirty pit by angry officers, so that he would die there, falling into the clutches of a "monster" imprisoned in a chain - Chewie. Of course, Han understands Chuuya's language, this extraordinary, incomparable animal voice, somewhat reminiscent of the sound of gargling in the morning.

But nevertheless, as soon as you hear these sounds, something in your heart says that it is he - the incomparable Chewbacca. Their strangest encounter becomes the most exciting moment in the entire chain of events, given the fact that Han originally decided to free Chewie and become his friend and ally.

Stories" shuffles the long-familiar components of the myths in such a way that some viewers find them too familiar: the same scenes in the desert, a weird cabaret, etc. But why not, because this is a spin-off, and we will also plunge into the prehistory of what we have already seen, on the eve of what preceded the great friendship between Han and Chuuya, we will learn about how Han got his beloved Millennium Falcon and much more.
