Cyberpunk 2077 ad campaign may start in 2018, is the game coming soon?
The kings of the Polish gaming industry and simply some of the best video game developers in the world of CD Project RED may start advertising their new game Cyberpunk 2077 this year. This assumption was put forward by the authoritative Polish site Strefainwestorow, which published the financial report of the developers. It follows from the above data that the company will not pay money to investors this year, but will most likely invest in promoting Cyberpunk 2077. We know, it sounds a bit far-fetched, but there are a few things worth paying attention to. CD Project is considered one of the largest companies in Poland with a capitalization of eleven billion dollars, whose revenue growth has steadily increased since the release of the first Witcher in 2007. Delay in payments to investors is most often for only one reason - the company does not have the finance to pay investors. And CD Project has a perfect reputation, so if they refuse payments, then the most likely assumption is that they invest resources in the marketing campaign of their new game. Polish developers have repeatedly stated that Cyberpunk 2077 will be many times larger than The Witcher 3, so the marketing company must be even more active so that CD Project can recoup the costs of developing the game. Note that the company took a loan to promote The Witcher 3 in 2015, which it later repaid after the success of its popular medieval RPG. If CD Project is not afraid to invest in marketing on its own, then they are sure that their new game will be even more popular than The Witcher 3. If Strefainwestorow's assumption turns out to be correct, then for all gamers it will be extremely positive news. After all, if this year starts marketing Cyberpunk 2077, then the release of the game is just around the corner.
