The loudest news from Bethesda turned out to be the shortest: both The Elder Scrolls VI and the younger Starfield project were presented in a couple of small teasers, according to which it is rather difficult to draw any definite conclusions.
However, Todd Howard, currently the director of Bethesda Game Studios, took pity and spoke a little about where both games are now.
According to Todd, Starfield is already playable, although there is still a lot of work to be done. But for fans of The Elder Scrolls, the news is less comforting, because the sixth part has not even been launched into production.
From this news, only one conclusion can be drawn - players will see Starfield before they again go to complete quests in the vastness of Tamriel (or anywhere else in Nirn) in TES. However, the release of any of the games should not be expected soon, because Bethesda is not famous for the high speed of fulfilling the wishes of fans of its games.
It is very possible that the Elder Scrolls will only see the light of day only on the new PlayStation 5. Therefore, 2020 should not seem so distant to us.
However, gamers now have the opportunity to distract themselves a little, because the developers have presented a lot of interesting things. For example, Fallout 76 and Rage 2. And if this does not help, then you can revise the teasers about young heroines from the new co-op project Wolfenstein: Youngblood or the long-awaited Doom Eternal.
