The Meizu brand is preparing the release of three flagship devices, among which the expected Meizu smartphone, intended for gamers. The company is planning a major market move by announcing smartphones with powerful hardware at an all-time low. The base of all three new products will be the Snapdragon 855 - Qualcomm's highest-performing processor to date. It has eight cores and support for the 5G module. The manufacturer did not come up with intricate names for the future line, giving the new models the names 16s, 16s Plus and 16T. Apparently, the new items will become the successors of the Meizu 16 family. In the presence of top-end characteristics, the cost of smartphones is declared by the company to be much lower than that of the models of its closest competitors. By the beginning of implementation, the price of the simplest assembly of the 16s model will be around $ 300. Technical specifications and design of the new line have not yet been disclosed, but something about them is already known. In addition to the fact that each Meizu smartphone from the flagship budget trinity will receive the latest Snapdragon 855 chipset, they will be externally made in the same style. The younger model will receive a 6.2-inch screen and a 4000 mAh battery. The 16s specifications include a 6.5-inch display and a 4,500mAh battery.
However, the most interesting is Meizu's flagship model 16T - a "dark horse" about which almost nothing is known except that this smartphone will become the most productive and budgetary of the entire line. The manufacturer probably rates it lower than the 16s, which starts at $ 295. With the help of which characteristics or refusal of certain technical parameters the company plans to achieve this, while being kept secret. The letter "T" in the model name refers to the word "Turbo", thereby speaking of its high performance. The 16T smartphone will be the brand's first gaming device, and it will have to face big competitors. Many serious companies have gaming ambitions, including Razer, Xiaomi, ZTE, ASUS, and the latter equips its gaming devices with a whole line of specialized add-ons. There are decent options on the gaming smartphone market, for this reason, gaming Meizu can find itself in difficult conditions.
However, the 16T still has prospects: the gaming smartphone Meizu is currently the only one in its class boasting the top-end Snapdragon 855. Most gaming devices are equipped with an 845 chip, while others have a Snapdragon 835.
