HP unveils new business notebooks without Intel processor


Hewlett Packard has expanded its EliteBook line with new representatives. Unlike other notebooks in the family, the newcomers got a specific feature. Every HP laptop that added to the line received an AMD chip instead of the usual Intel, which was equipped with almost all laptops in the series. The EliteBook 700 G6 family has expanded with two laptops and one mobile client, made in a laptop case. Each of them is characterized by compact dimensions and a large selection of wired interfaces.

AMD Notebooks

Two new representatives of the line - the EliteBook 735 G6 model and one more novelty - 745 G6 work on the AMD Ryzen Pro chip, which was announced not so long ago. Among its technical characteristics, the option of simultaneous processing of eight information flows at once and the ability to overclock computing cores up to 4 GHz stand out.

Screens of laptops are equipped with identical IPS-matrices, but differ in diagonals. One of them is the HP EliteBook 735 G6 laptop has a 13.3-inch display, while the 745 G6 has a slightly larger diagonal - up to 14 inches. Both devices support Full HD and have the same 1920 x 1080 resolution.


In the arsenal of the HP EliteBook 735 G6 there is up to 32 GB of RAM, variations of solid state drives with parameters from 128 GB to 1 TB. The laptop is powered by a 50 W * h battery, it also has a pair of speakers and a card reader, by default there is support for wireless standards Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.

In terms of operating components, the new HP AMD notebook comes with Windows 10 preinstalled with a range of utilities to help keep personal information secure. The HP 735 G6 is equipped with USB-C and USB 3.1 connectors, an Ethernet LAN output and an HDMI 2.0 slot.


The new HP laptop is expected on the market soon. We are talking about a 735 G6 laptop, the price start of which starts at $ 1,200 . At almost the same time, another model is scheduled to be released - the HP EliteBook 745 G6, which starts at $ 930.

Mobile Thin Client

New laptops of the EliteBook family are complemented by a branded mobile thin client. The long-named HP mt45 Mobile Thin Client will be released next month and will start at $ 800 . The operating system of the device will be a special version of Windows 10 for a similar class of devices, HP ThinPro solutions or the choice of HP Smart Zero.


Mobile Thin Client with a 14-inch IPS-matrix screen is equipped with USB-C, USB 3.1, HDMI and Ethernet outputs. All assemblies are equipped with 8 GB of RAM, the storage capacity reaches up to 128 GB. In the main assembly of the HP mt45, there is an AMD Ryzen 3 Pro 3300U chip based on the Zen architecture, built using 12nm technology and the ability to overclock up to 3.5 GHz. It is complemented by six-core Radeon Vega 6 graphics (up to 1.2 GHz).
