Jeepers Creepers take over the old
Back in September 2015, we reported that Myriad Pictures had decided to fund the shooting of the third film in the Jeepers Creepers series. Triquel was ready to go into production last April, but then the leading casting agencies in Canada unexpectedly refused to cooperate with its creators.The British Columbia Actors' Union considered that the film set would be an unsafe place to work, as its director served a prison sentence for molesting a minor child. Victor Salva was sentenced to three years in prison for seducing a 12-year-old boy in 1988 on the set of his horror movie House of Clowns. In order to avoid a loud scandal surrounding Jeepers Creepers 3, the producers chose to curtail work on the film. It seemed that the project had sunk into oblivion, but today the portal Bloody Disgusting reported that the creators of the franchise decided to give the triquel another chance. Salva will retain the director's post, and filming will be moved from Canada to Louisiana.  The action of the triquel should unfold on the last day of the 23-day hunt for Jeepers Creepers . Rumor has it that Jonathan Breck will return to the role of the bloodthirsty monster, and Brandon Smith will once again embody the image of Sergeant Tubbs . Rumor has it that the third film in the franchise may also give viewers a new meeting with the main character of the first part - Trish Jenner played by Gina Philips.
