The boom in serialization has led not only to broadcast and cable channels, but also popular video hosting sites to produce their own content. The action of the TV project will unfold thirty years after Daniel LaRusso became the winner of the young karate tournament. The life of the defeated Johnny Lawrence has been going downhill for many years, but one day he gets a chance to drastically change his fate and restore the " Cobra Kai " school. Meanwhile, the successful and wealthy LaRusso is trying to find himself without the support of Mr. Miyagi . Soon Johnny and Daniel will realize that they only know one way to deal with the ghosts of the past and fears of the future - karate ...< The series' writing team will include Josh Heald (Hot Tub Time Machine) and American Pie: The Whole Comedy writers John Harwitz and Hayden Schlossberg. The latter is also expected to direct several episodes of the first season. Ralph Macchio and William Zabka have already agreed to return to familiar images. Fortunately for fans of the series, both stars of the original are perfectly preserved.  The first season of the series will consist of ten 30-minute episodes.
