Transformers will travel back in time
As Transformers fans count the days until The Last Knight premieres, Paramount continues to make ambitious plans to expand its popular franchise. The Hollywood company got the idea to create a spin-off and prequel series for the main film series in the spring of 2015. With the help of a stellar group of authors, the bosses of Paramount were able to quickly draw up a plan for the development of the Transformers universe for several years to come. In April of this year, director Michael Bay let slip that at the moment the major is currently developing fourteen projects about Autobots and Decepticons.Soon, Paramount studio will begin filming the first spin-off " Transformers ", the main character of which will be Bumblebee . The story of the adventures of the charming Autobot was written by Christina Hodson ("Locked"), and the director's chair of the film went to Travis Knight ("Kubo. The Legend of the Samurai"). Earlier this month, we announced that Oscar nominee Hayley Steinfeld is nominating for the lead role in the spin-off. As it became known to the edition Empire , the action of the so far unnamed film about Bumblebee will unfold in the 80s of the last century. With the phenomenal success of Mysterious Events, Paramount bosses decided to shoot their blockbuster in the spirit of classic family films from the era of the first VCRs.  The studio still plans to create an animated prequel about the planet Cybertron. The cartoon is being written by Ant-Man authors Andrew Barrer and Gabriel Ferrari. According to insiders, the leadership of Paramount is also considering a script application for a film about the adventures of transformers during the time of Ancient Rome. It is possible that the first brick in the foundation of the future spin-off will be laid in " The Last Knight ". Trailers for the movie Michael Bay made it clear that this summer viewers will see aliens from distant space on the fields of bloody battles of different time periods.
