Paramount will reveal the secret weapon of the Third Reich

According to Variety , Paramount Pictures and Bad Robot studios are ready to provide movie lovers with the opportunity to return to the fields of bloody battles in Normandy.American film companies are starting work on the film Overlord , which will be a mixture of military drama and mystical horror. The plot of the film was invented ten years ago by the owner of Bad Robot JJ Abrams and filmmaker Billy Ray ("The Stephen Glass Scam"). Ray designed the first draft of the script, which was later revised by Mark L. Smith (The Survivor). In the center of the plot - two paratroopers who find themselves in enemy territory after their plane was shot down over Normandy. Fighting comrades urgently need to disable the German radio tower, but soon they realize that not only ordinary soldiers, but also supernatural beings, born as a result of secret Nazi experiments, are ready to stand in their way ...  The project lay on the shelf for several years, until Paramount and Bad Robot finally managed to find a suitable director for it. The action-horror will be directed by Julius Avery , who has received many accolades for his debut film Young Blood. The Australian director also plans to work on the crime drama King of Los Angeles, which will be dedicated to a high-profile corruption scandal in Drug Enforcement Administration .
