Green and DeVito head to Burton Circus
It seems that Tim Burton has decided to make the French actress Eva Green his muse. According to Deadline Hollywood , the director is about to invite her to his new feature film Dumbo , a remake of the classic Disney cartoon.The plot is built around a big-eared and friendly circus elephant. He had to endure constant bullying because of his ears, but, despite this, he learned to fly with their help. The script for the new film was written by Eren Kruger, and all the animals in the tape will be executed using CGI. Colette , a French circus gymnast, will be played by Eva Green , who previously worked with Burton in Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children, and played the role of Angelica Bouchard in the gothic tragicomedy Dark Shadows.  The cast of the new Dumbo will also be joined by Danny DeVito , who starred in Burton's Batman Returns, Big Fish and Mars Attacks! DeVito will play Medici - the manager of a small circus. According to the plot of the picture, this circus will be in the hands of a villain - an influential rich man Vandemer .  So far, there is no information about who will get the role of the antagonist. As the website Deadline found out, negotiations between Disney and Will Smith over the role of Vandemer were unsuccessful, and as a result Smith >refused to star in Dumbo .
