Viewers are well aware of the story of the good-hearted thief from Agrabah. A hero named Aladdin is trying to win the heart of Princess Jasmine and, together with his friends, confronts the villain Jafar, who needs to find a smart guy - a magic lamp with a genie.
An animated film based on the famous fairy tale appeared in the 90s of the last century. Then his characters spoke with the voices of Linda Larkin, Robin Williams and Scott Wenger. However, no less famous people were involved in the creation of a new version of the story: Guy Ritchie himself is responsible for the release of "Aladdin" on the big screens, and the announced cast is almost as impressive as the name of the director.
Mena Massoud will be reincarnated as the main character Aladdin, whom the good Genie will help to fight against evil and seek the location of the beautiful Jasmine.
Naomi Scott, who has already collaborated with Disney on the musical drama Lemonade Mouth, will play the role of Princess Jasmine in Aladdin. The actress's list of works also includes the science fiction series Terra Nova and the action movie Power Rangers.

Dane Marwan Kenzari ("Lucia de Berk") will play the villainous Jafar. Having started his acting career in the Netherlands, Kenzari moved to Hollywood in 2017 and took part in the production of the new "Mummy". Now in cinemas, Marwan can be seen in the crime drama Murder on the Orient Express.
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia actress Nazim Padrad will become the mysterious Dale. This character has never appeared in a classic cartoon. According to the creators, the new heroine will be a servant and faithful friend of the princess.
Navid Negaban will play Sultan, Jasmine's father and ruler of Agrabah.
