Jonathan Watts stays for a second year
After the superhero blockbuster Spider-Man: Homecoming received rave reviews in the press and became the highest grossing comic strip of the year, it became clear that the heads of studios Marvel and Sony would be delighted to continue their partnership with director Jonathan Watts. The director received an invitation to lead work on the second film about the adventures of Peter Parker back in July this year, but did not rush to sign the contract.It seems that the bosses of Hollywood film companies still managed to make Watts an offer he could not refuse. Several visitors to the Comic-Con festival in Brazil posted on social networks information that at the presentation of Marvel's projects, its head Kevin Feige solemnly announced the conclusion of a new deal with Jonathan. It is worth noting that the official Marvel website is in no hurry to confirm the news of the appointment of Watts as the director of the sequel to Homecoming.
