As it became known to the information portal Deadline, this time the screenwriter and producer Kevin Williamson is ready to present his view of the stories and legends familiar from a young age. More than 20 years ago, he started his career with the horror movie Scream, which has grown over time into a whole franchise, and now he is going to return to the topic of horror stories. The series, titled Tell Me a Story, will air on the CBS All Access streaming platform. Aaron Kaplan (Terra Nova) and Dana Honor (Startup) will also co-executive produce with Williamson.

The future project is based on a Spanish show, which was released in 2013 and consisted of five unrelated original interpretations of famous fairy tales, filmed in the genre of psychological thriller. The events of the series "Tell Me a Story" will develop in modern New York, and in the first season, the creators promise to turn "Three Little Pigs", "Little Red Riding Hood" and "Jack and the Beanstalk" into an epic and destructive story of love, loss, greed, revenge and murder.

Previously, Kevin Williamson has worked on television shows such as Followers, Dawson's Creek, The Vampire Diaries, The Secret Circle, Stalker and Scream. Also on account of the screenwriter for the horror films I Know What You Did Last Summer, The Faculty, and the black comedy Kill Mrs. Tingle.
