Studio 8 decided to keep up with the competition and acquired the rights to adapt the Scout graphic novel series, created and illustrated by legendary comic book artist Timothy Truman . At the same time, McBride sold Sony a script application for the Amnesia thriller, also based on comics. In the center of the events of the new film will be a former army ranger from the Apache tribe, trying to find out the reasons for the disappearance of young girls. During the investigation, the protagonist uncovers a much larger conspiracy involving local gangs, slave traders, oil companies and corrupt officials.  The film is produced by Braden Aftegood (At Any Cost, Battleship), and the original author, Timothy Truman , is working on the project as a consultant.
