Image Not long ago, Hilary Swank starred with Danny Boyle in the crime drama Trust, and now the winner of two Oscars has to go on a fantastic journey. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Swank was cast in the Australian thriller I Am Mother.

The film will be the directorial debut for Grant Spator, and the cast includes Clara Rugor-Larsen, Luke Hawker and Thalia Sturzaker in addition to Swank.

The movie revolves around a teenage girl raised underground by a robot mom. The purpose of the latter is to restore the population of planet Earth after its extinction. The child's unique alliance with AI is threatened when the girl agrees to shelter a stranger played by Hilary Swank. The woman questions her mother's stories about the outside world, and the teenager begins to think about the true motives of the robot that raised her.

In addition to the TV series Trust and the drama What They Had, due out next year, Hilary Swank's recent work includes 55 Steps and Logan's Luck.

Film and television projects about the life of comedians, who make people laugh at the cost of their own personal lives, have recently been very popular, and therefore work on the picture All About Nina begins at the right time.
