Jude Law is aiming for superheroes
The Marvel Cinematic Universe is poised to welcome yet another Hollywood star into its ranks. According to Variety, Jude Law is in talks to get the lead male role in the blockbuster Captain Marvel.Official representatives of the studio have not yet confirmed this information, and therefore there is no exact information about who Lowe can play. However, insiders believe that the actor got the role of Dr. Walter Lawson, also known as Mar-Vell. In the comics, the character is a representative of the alien Kree race, who was sent to Earth to spy on humanity. After Mar-Vell began to help people too often, his own people found him guilty and sentenced to death, but fortunately, the hero found a way to return to Earth. He was the first Captain Marvel. At the Comic-Con festival, the head of Marvel Studios, Kevin Feige, confirmed that the Skrulls should be the villains in Captain Marvel, and they just fought the Kree. Ben Mendelssohn, given the role of the central antagonist, is likely to appear as the leader of the Skrull empire. As for Dr. Lawson, he will mentor Carol Danvers (Brie Larson), who is just getting used to her new powers. Samuel L. Jackson also signed up for the blockbuster. Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck (Semi-Nelson) have been selected as directors, and the USA premiere is scheduled for March 7, 2019.  If negotiations with Jude Law are successful, then for him "Captain Marvel" will be the second new project of this scale in the last year: Lowe will still embody the image of Albus Dumbledore in the sequel to "Fantastic Beasts".
