While numerous fans of comics about superheroes were counting the days until the release of the long-awaited "Ragnarok" about the adventures of the god of thunder and lightning, the leading actor Chris Hemsworth managed to star in the historical drama "The Cavaliers". The film lifts the veil over the military operations in Afghanistan after the tragedy of 9/11. The beloved Thunderer got the role of Captain Mitch Nelson, under whose command the Special Forces team was tasked with working with the Afghan military leader to overthrow the Islamic radical Taliban movement. The hero was accompanied in this difficult mission by Trevante Rhodes ("Moonlight") and Elsa Pataky, familiar to the audience from the role of Elena in the last parts of "Fast and the Furious". Nikolai Fulsi took the director's chair, Peter Craig, Doug Stanton and Ted Talley worked on the script.
