The War and Peace team will take on the Les Miserables
The British miniseries "War & Peace" ( War & Peace ) did not receive a nomination for an Emmy , but critics call the drama BBC b>gorgeous and luxurious, while celebrating the talented performance of the cast. According to the website Collider , now the team "War and Peace" is ready to conquer new heights and has chosen the novel Victor Hugo "Les Miserables " .The classic will form the basis of a six-episode series produced by BBC and Lookout Point and Weinstein Television . Les Miserables will be adapted by screenwriter Andrew Davis, who has worked not only on War and Peace , but also on The Musketeers and The Diary of Bridget Jones. “ Les Miserables” is a world famous work,- noted Davis . -Many of us are familiar with the musical of the same name, which presented only part of this classic story. I am overjoyed to be able to pay tribute to Victor Hugo by adapting his masterpiece for the BBC with the War and Peace team.  Harvey Weinstein, in turn, noted that Les Miserables is one of his favorites, but the series should turn out to be completely different. The producer described the project as a deep and serious drama, the plot of which can be correlated with the events taking place today.
