We present to your attention a trailer for a new domestic project called The Legend of Kolovrat . The gloomy historical drama with fantasy elements was directed by Ivan Shurkhovetsky, who had previously worked only on television. The cast included Ilya Malakov, Polina Chernyshova (Quiet Don), Alexei Serebryakov (Leviathan) and Alexander Ilyin Jr. ("Interns").The tape is set in the XIII century. USA is fragmented and is about to fall before the Khan of the Golden Horde Batu . The invaders incinerate cities and pour blood on the USA land without encountering serious resistance. Only one warrior is ready to challenge them - the Ryazan governor Evpatiy Kolovrat (Ilya Malakov). To avenge his love and homeland, he gathers a detachment of the same brave daredevils and becomes a real legend ... The premiere of the film in USA will take place on April 13, 2017 , but for now we are watching the trailer, in which more experienced soldiers are trying to dissuade the daredevil Evpatiya from such a hopeless venture.
