After filming two parts of The Amazing Spider-Man starring Andrew Garfield, director Mark Webb returned to the world of independent cinema. Over the past couple of years, he managed to work on the films "Gifted", "The only living guy in New York" and now continues to choose small-scale but interesting projects for himself.According to the news site Collider , Webb will lead the filming of This Above All on the real story of Megan Phelps-Roper, formerly held at Westboro Baptist Church. The script for the new project is being handled by two-time Oscar nominee Nick Hornby (Sensory Education). He will adapt an article written for The New Yorker Adrian Chen , as well as an upcoming memoir Phelps-Roper . Megan , the granddaughter of the founder of Westboro Baptist Church, which hates everyone and everything, was one of its most ardent speakers on social media. On her Twitter account, she protested against everything from cultural events to funerals. However, arguments with other users led to a crisis of faith: Megan began to question the doctrines of the church.
