The CW will continue the vampire theme with The Lost Boys
Although the Vampire Diaries ( The Vampire Diaries ) will say goodbye to the audience next year, the The CW channel has no plans to part with the bloodsuckers, and not only the "Originals" will contribute to this ( The Originals ). As it became known to the information portal Deadline , the management of the television network has launched a series based on the cult film " The Lost Boys ".The idea for the TV remake belongs to Rob Thomas ("Veronica Mars" / Veronica Mars ), who has experience in both comedy and drama genres. The producer has ambitious plans for a new project - seven seasons of what it means to be immortal. Moreover, each chapter of the story will tell about a time interval of ten years. The events of the first season will unfold in San Francisco in 1967 during the so-called "Summer of Love" . People, locations, the antagonist and the plot will change from year to year, only the main vampire characters will remain the same ...  Joel Schumacher's original film tells the story of two brothers (Jason Patrick and Corey Haim) confronting a gang of vampires led by the hero Kiefer Sutherland. There are already precedents on television when series take classic films as a basis, change and complement their plot and, as a result, deserve the love of viewers.
