Alfonso Cuaron will return home
After winning two Oscars for directing and editing the sci-fi Gravity, Alfonso Cuaron decided to take a break from his successful film career. Over the past two and a half years, the filmmaker managed to have a hand in the creation of the series "Believe" ( Believe ) and was the president of the jury of the 72nd Venice Film Festival .According to Empire , the eminent Mexican has finally decided on his next project in the world of big cinema. Cuaron will join forces with Participant Media on an as-yet unnamed family drama set in Mexico City in the 1970s. “This film is very dear to me, since I have not worked in Mexico since“ And Your Mom, ”, said Alfonso . -I am happy that the talented team of the studio Participant decided to support my new film. The details of the plot of the picture are still kept secret. It is only known that the script was written by Cuaron himself, hoping to start filming the drama this fall.  The film will be produced by Participant Media by Jeff Skoll (Servant) and David Lind (Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon), and Cuaron has brought in Gabriela Rodriguez, with which he has been collaborating with since the creation of the dystopia "Human Child".
