Casting: Baccarin to Delorin, Franco to Harlem

Image While the heroine of Morena Baccarin in "Gotham" rescues the members of the fight club, the film company XYZ Films offered the actress to play a role in an unnamed documentary about John DeLorin, an American engineer of Romanian-Hungarian origin, who designs cars.

The new film will tell about how DeLorin (Alec Baldwin) achieved success and what events led to his failure. The plot should be based on clippings from interviews with colleagues, employees and lawyers, as well as the personal opinions of the businessman's friends and family who knew him best. Baccarin will play Christina Ferrare, the ex-wife of John DeLorin.

The filming of the new project was entrusted to Don Arott, and Sheena Joyce is responsible for the production. The release of the tape is scheduled for 2018.

Meanwhile, Baccarin's Deadpool co-star Ed Skrein will be filming an adaptation of James Baldwin's If Beale Street Could Talk * with Dave Franco (Illusion of Deception). Back in the summer it became known that Barry Jenkins had long dreamed of working on an adaptation and even wrote a script in 2013. The plot revolves around the Harlem love story of 19-year-old Tish and her future husband Fonny. The couple are expecting a child and are preparing for the wedding with might and main, until a racist police officer decides to destroy their happiness, accusing the protagonist of raping Puerto Rican Victoria Rogers. Fonnie goes to prison, Rogers goes to his native Puerto Rico, and the mother of the unfortunate bride, Sharon, goes after the victim in search of justice for her future son-in-law. What roles are assigned to Skrein and Franco in this story is unknown, but the film crew promises to start work soon.

And Lupita Nyong'o and Josh Gad will join Alexander England in the zombie comedy by Abe Forsyth Little Monsters ("Little Monsters" *). The project will be funded by Snoot Entertainment, and production itself is already underway in Sydney. In the new film, England's hero agrees to accompany his nephew's kindergarten group on a small trip, hoping to win the heart of their teacher Caroline (Nyong'o), with whom Josh Gad's hero is also in love. Things get complicated when zombies suddenly appear on the horizon.
