Africa is calling
The Hollywood Reporter has learned that Good Fear Film has acquired the rights to the full-length adaptation of Aurion: Legacy of the Kori-Odan .The original is an action role-playing game set in a fantasy universe, and was based on African mythology. In the center of events is the prince of Zama, who on his own wedding day became the victim of a cunning conspiracy by his brother-in-law. The royal couple are expelled from their native lands, and in order to regain their throne, they set off on a journey around the world in search of new allies. The film adaptation will be produced by Chris Bender (We Are the Millers) and Jake Weiner (The Incredible Bert Wonderstone). Together they also continue to work on a full-length feature film based on the cartoon "Mulan". "This is a unique example of the fantasy genre, and we are inspired not only by the creator of the game Madiba Olivier , but also by the world he invented", - noted in a joint statement Bender and Weiner .
