Fox Studio will sign up on Fear Street
While the film company Sony Pictures is preparing to launch a sequel to the fantasy comedy Horror, Hollywood is in full swing on the adaptation of another famous book cycle by the American writer R.L. Stein . The management of the studio Fox announced their desire to bring the heroes of teenage horror " Street of Fear " to the big screen in October 2015. In February of this year, the film finally saw its long-awaited breakthrough when Awakening creator Kyle Killen was appointed to write it.According to The Hollywood Reporter , over the past months, Fox bosses have received two more script applications from aspiring writers Zach Olkiewicz and Silky Louise. Now the management of the major has decided to involve in the project the scriptwriter and director Li Janyak , who has earned a lot of flattering reviews in the press for her debut film "Honeymoon". The status of a rising star in the horror genre was helped by her work on the popular TV series "Scream" and "Outcast". The terms of the deal are still under wraps, but insiders claim that Janiak will have to tweak all three scenarios. Lee is also expected to direct at least one part of the new horror franchise.  According to as yet unconfirmed information, studio Fox is ready to try out the new distribution model. According to rumors, the major will shoot three films in a row, and then begin to release them on screens with a difference of only a month. If the experiment succeeds, Street of Fear will become one of the longest running anthologies in the history of cinema: the book series Stein and its numerous spin-offs include several dozen literary works.  The company Chernin Entertainment , which already has experience of cooperation with the studio Fox on the work on the Planet of the Apes franchise and the fantasy film Miss Peregrine's House of Peculiar Children, will also take part in the creation of this ambitious project. ...
