Game of Glass Thrones
Earlier this year, the online service Hulu received a lot of compliments for its work on the miniseries "11.22.63" ( 11.22.63 ) based on Stephen King's bestseller of the same name. As reported by Deadline , the streaming service has continued to seek ideas for new projects in well-known literary works. Hulu will join forces with renowned film and television producer Mark Gordon (Saving Private Ryan) to create a series based on Sarah J. Maas's book cycle The Glass Throne .The main heroine of the fantasy saga Maas is an 18-year-old orphan Selena Sardotin , who was brought up from a young age in a secret society of assassins. Once captured by an insidious tyrant, she was forced to agree to participate in a tournament in the Glass Castle, a victory in which gives a chance to freedom for the most dangerous criminals of the kingdom of Adarlan ... The novels from the series "The Glass Throne " became bestsellers in the United States, and also deserved flattering comparisons with the book series "The Hunger Games" and the works of George R.R. Martin.  The TV adaptation of The Glass Throne will be titled Queen of Shadows . Kira Snyder ( The 100 ) will be at the head of the series' writing team, while Anna Foerster, who is currently preparing the Underworld: Blood Wars action game, will take over the directorial chair of the pilot episode.
