To regain its former glory, Sophia plans to organize a large-scale production of the opera The Queen of Spades . All members of the troupe understand that after the premiere, each of them will become a real celebrity, and a fierce struggle for roles begins behind the scenes.This is the synopsis of Pavel Lungin's new film, in which Ksenia Rappoport and Ivan Yankovsky will play the main roles. The famous USA director was inspired to create this project by Tchaikovsky's opera of the same name.
