Netflix and Gyllenhaal Turn Heist of the Century
Netflix continues to strengthen its position in the film industry - according to the portal Deadline , the leadership of the online service is preparing to buy out the rights to the film The Helicopter Heist , the main role in which will be performed by Jake Gyllenhaal . In addition, the actor will take over the production functions of the project.The film will be based on an as-yet unpublished book by Jonas Bonnier , and it was Gyllenhaal Nine Stories who came up with the idea to adapt the work for large screens. The original tells the story of what was dubbed the Swedish "robbery of the century." In September 2009, in the suburbs of Stockholm, a gang of criminals staged a theft with a helicopter - savvy hijackers landed on the roof of a money vault and took out more than $ 5 million from there.
