Jessica Chastain will conquer pain
Hollywood intends to make a new attempt to film the comic book Painkiller Jane . As reported by Deadline , Lotus Entertainment , Solipsist Films and will combine efforts to create the film based on the graphic novel by Jimmy Palmiotti and Joe Quesada. Freckle Films . Jane used to work undercover to infiltrate the gang of New York crime boss Joe Fonti . Two years later, Sci Fi launched Painkiller Jane , which lasted only one season. The character of Jane in the multi-part action thriller was embodied by Kristanna Loken. Attempts to transfer the invulnerable heroine to the big screen were made a couple of years ago, when Jen and Sylvia Soska were claiming the director's chair. The family duo set their sights on the R rating, but the sisters' plans were never realized. Now that the project has passed into the hands of Chastain and her partners, the long-awaited film adaptation of Painkiller Jane has all the chances to finally go into work.
