The famous graphic novel entered the press in 1989. Its creators decided to rewind the flywheel of time a hundred years ago and give readers a unique opportunity to travel to Gotham at the end of the 19th century. After the return of Bruce Wayne from Europe, a series of brutal massacres of women swept through his hometown. The Dark Knight suspects that the infamous British maniac Jack the Ripper followed him to Gotham. Soon Wayne discovers that an insidious killer wants to fabricate evidence against him ...  The title of the comic strip Augustin and Mignols is a reference to the film Gaslight, which brought Ingrid Bergman the first of her three Oscars . After the release of this action-packed thriller, the term "gaslighting" appeared in psychology. They are called manipulative tactics with the help of which a person can be made to doubt their own memory and mental health. This year, Warner Bros. Animation has already donated to comic book fans such cartoons as "The Dark Universe" and "Teen Titans: The Judas Contract."
