After the adaptation of The Martian won two Golden Globes , received seven Oscar nominations and earned worldwide box office over $ 630 million , 20th Century Fox has decided to continue working with writer Andy Weir . A year ago it became known that a Hollywood studio offered the author of the bestselling book about the adventures of astronaut Mark Watney to work again with director Ridley Scott on the creation of a secret film project.Today from the camp of the film company Fox came another good news for the fans of the talent of the American science fiction writer. According to The Tracking Board , the major bosses have acquired the rights to film the new novel by Weir , tentatively titled Artemis ( Artemis ). Since the book is just getting ready for print, the details of its plot are still kept secret.
