Casting: Fleeing and Killing Giants
The romantic thriller " Andorra ", starring Clive Owen, has been replenished with the addition of Gillian Anderson (The X-Files / The X Files ), Toni Collette (The Sixth Sense), Joanna Lumley (The Wolf of Wall Street) and Riccardo Scamarchio ("Chef Adam Jones"). The information portal Deadline informs about it.The film will be based on the novel of the same name by Peter Cameron, and will lead the shooting, scheduled for next spring, Fred Skepisi ("The Last Wish"). Owen will play the bookseller Alexander Fox , after a personal tragedy decided to leave the United States and start a new life abroad. His choice falls on Andorra - a tiny country that at first glance seems like an ideal place to escape. Upon arrival, Alexander quickly becomes a part of the local community. Collette got the role of Mrs. Dent - an Australian with a huge dog and a delicate secret, and Lumley will embody the image of the head of the Kway family , in the past, possibly knowing Fox . In the person of her daughter, Miss Kway ( Gillian Anderson ), Alexander will find pleasant company for himself.  Shortly after Alexander arrives in Andorra, the police find a woman's corpse, and the local lieutenant ( Scamarchio ) begins to suspect that Fox was involved in the murder ... The land of paradise threatens to become a place for the protagonist, from which he can never leave ...  Roselyn Sanchez ("Devious Maids" / Devious Maids ) goes to the set of Stranded , where will be the company of Paul Patton, Omar Epps and Laz Alonso ... The drama by Deon Taylor ("Supremacy") follows a journalist who is kidnapped after she begins investigating a trafficking case. Sanchez will play Malia - the best friend of the main character. She will have to save not only the kidnapped life, but also her own.  Imogen Poots ("Need for Speed: Need for Speed") has joined the cast of I Kill Giants , based on the graphic novel of the same name. Zoe Saldana and Madison Wolfe previously agreed to take part in the filming of the project. The tape will tell the story of a young Barbara , forced to fight both real and imaginary enemies. The script was written by the original author Joe Kelly, and Anders Walter Hansen will be the director. Details of the role of Putts have not been disclosed yet.
