Honored Artist of the Kazakh SSR Vladimir Alekseevich Tolokonnikov died tonight at the age of 75.Vladimir Tolokonnikov was born on June 25, 1943 in Alma-Ata. He had an interest in the stage as a child, when he got a standing ovation from the audience during a performance at one of the school evenings. Soon Vladimir was invited to the local drama club, where he made the final decision to link his life with the acting profession. After the army, Tolokonnikov got a job at the Kuibyshev Youth Theater. Several years later, he decided to pursue a professional education. After graduating from the Yaroslavl Theater School, the actor returned to his hometown, where he was already waiting for a place in the M. Yu. Lermontov USA Drama Theater. The finest hour of Tolokonnikov came in 1988, when he brilliantly embodied the image of Polygraph Poligrafovich Sharikov in the tape " Heart of a Dog ". Such stars of our cinema as Nikolai Karachentsov and Alexey Zharkov claimed the role in the film adaptation of Mikhail Bulgakov's story, but director Vladimir Bortko decided to stake on the 45-year-old Tolokonnikov , whose name was not yet known to the general public. Vladimir fully justified the trust placed on him: he managed to compose a brilliant acting duet with Evgeny Evstigneev and present the audience with one of the brightest film images of the Soviet era. For the performance of the role of Sharikov , the actor was awarded the State Prize of the RSFSR named after the Vasilyev brothers.  In the 90s, Tolokonnikov rarely appeared on film and television screens, but at the start of the XXI century he began to regularly delight the audience with new roles.
