BAFTA 2017: winners
The 70th British Academy of Film and Television Arts ( BAFTA ) Awards took place tonight at the Albert Royal Hall of Arts and Sciences . The event was hosted by the famous actor and writer Stephen Fry for the 12th time.The status of the main favorite of the ceremony was successfully confirmed by the musical " La La Land ", which won in five of the 11 announced categories. The closest pursuers of Damien Chazelle's film were Manchester by the Sea and The Lion, each of which won two British Academy Awards .
