Halo teleadaptation just around the corner

Image It seems that the work on the TV series based on the famous game franchise Halo has finally seen some serious progress. The project was announced back in the spring of 2013, when Microsoft announced that Steven Spielberg would be producing the show. A year later, the series found shelter on the cable channel Showtime, but then an information vacuum formed around the adaptation of the series of games in the genre of combat fiction.

The long-awaited news about the fate of the project came from the US Television Critics Association's winter press tour that is taking place these days. "This series is in active development," Showtime CEO David Nevins reassured the audience. The head of the channel also noted that he had already got acquainted with the draft script of the fantastic action movie.

Showtime's president of original content, Gary Levine, provided more details. “The creation of the series is in full swing, - said the representative of the TV network. -We love the preliminary work on this project. We still plan on filming Halo as a live action series. It should be an excellent gift for the target audience of our channel and all fans of the gaming franchise”.
