My eyes would not have seen ... Trailer for the drama ”I Only See You”

Image If you look at the filmography of Mark Forster, we can conclude that we are facing a very diverse director: there were high-budget horror action games ("War of the Worlds Z"), and high-quality thoughtful action films ("The Preacher with a Machine Gun"), and James Bond ( "Quantum of Solace"), and visceral psychological dramas with Ryan Gosling and Ewan McGregor ("Stay"). Apparently, in the latter genre, Mark was most comfortable working, since he decided to return to him after all the blockbusters. We are talking about a relatively new project called "I Only See You", which was presented to the overseas public last year, and will reach our release only at the end of this year.

The plot of the drama revolves around the blind girl Gina and her husband, who is ready to do anything to make her happy. Once the doctors gave the couple hope, saying that there were methods that could restore the eyesight of the main character. The husband rejoices, both, without a shadow of a doubt, agree to the operation, hoping that their family life will sparkle with new colors. However, after gaining sight for Gina, not only marriage, but the whole world began to play with new colors. She began to rediscover feelings and emotions for herself, and her loving husband decided that this was somehow too much. And at some point, they both realized that before the operation they treated each other completely differently.

The film stars Blake Lively and Jason Clarke (The World's Drunkest District) starring the inventive horror film The Shallow. Critics greeted the tape without much enthusiasm, considering it insufficiently exciting and intriguing. Among the positive aspects, reviewers noted a beautiful picture, worthy of Blake Lively's performance and an interesting disclosure of the topic of masculinity. The visual merits of Mark Forster's new work can be appreciated right now - in the trailer below.
