Warner Bros. has officially confirmed to Deadline that a remake of the classic Hollywood movie " A Star is Born " is in production. The information we previously reported regarding the casting was also reinforced: the leading female role in the musical film will be performed by the singer Lady Gaga , and the director's chair will be taken by Bradley Cooper , who, in addition, has assigned himself central male role. Filming will begin early next year in California.Warner Bros.
