Almost 15 years have passed since the horror movie The Ring was released, and since then director Gore Verbinski has avoided the horror genre. The filmmaker switched to more ambitious projects and managed to add three parts of "Pirates of the Caribbean" and "Lone Ranger" to his track record. The latter, however, failed, and Verbinski , who knows how to create truly creepy visuals and pictures, decided to return to horror with his new film " Health Cure ".In the story, a young and very ambitious manager is tasked with going to a sanatorium in the Alps, where his boss is supposedly undergoing treatment in an idyllic but mysterious center. Once in the institution, the guy begins to understand that a miracle cure, which should relieve a person of all ailments, is not a panacea at all, as it might seem at first glance. This place keeps terrible secrets, and the main character will have to pass a test of strength, because he himself becomes a patient of a strange clinic ... The idea for the painting belongs to Verbinski himself and screenwriter Justin Hayes (Road to Change), and the main roles in the film are played by Dane DeHaan, Mia Goth and Jason Isaacs.
